A whole year has passed with the man in my life... And I have to say... What a year it's been.

Happy 1st Anniversary you sick sexy thang!
Lol of course my boyfriend doesn't look like that all the time lah. LOOOLL... But well haha... It's been amazing. Our fun times together... our experiences working for events together... tears and laughter and through thick and thin... It's crazy how far we've gone in just a span of a year!

Well... Our first anniversary was a pretty low-key one... considering I have exams next week. *GASP!* But it meant everything of course... the first anniversary is always special. Hehe. Well on the 8th we were at an event for the latest Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, which was also kinda like a pre-anniv celebration for us... haha. And of course... a big THANK YOU to Alan and Outpost for letting us have a five-course dinner + movie on the house prior to our special day...

Ernie and I were responsible for one of the competitions open to the dinner guests. Basically the contestants had to play a game of blackjack as Bond against Ernie, the villian... and prizes would go to the best actor, which will be nominated from videos on Facebook over the next coupla days. And Kimmie... well... Kimmie was Ernie's arrogant 'escort gal' with a supposed attraction to Bond.... XD


It's gonna be one helluva night huns... Every chip on that table will belong to us...

Blue champagne! Yums


Asparagus cream soup and shrimp cocktail which was pretty good.
Didn't take pics of the main courses.... but damn the grilled fish + lemon sauce and roast chicken were AWESOME though they looked fairly simple. Outpost's kitchen staff never fail to surprise and impress. :) Great job, guys!

My favorite part - dessert!! Bread pudding and custard... sadly we had to rush through this as we were late for our movie!! So immediately after, off we went with everyone to the cinema for the action-packed Quantum of Solace! It was so funny... a group of us in tuxes and dinner jackets among all the regular patrons... and me in that very X-rated dress. Kekes.

And believe it or not... after the movie my boy's bottomless pit of a tummy was demanding to be fed again. Hmm. It was 11pm+... where could we go?

Can you guess? Of course we went to our favorite restaurant, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co!

Oh and yeah did I mention I had a 'costume change'??? Hehe that long black dress was getting too precarious....

And not-so-hungry me opted for a yoghurt smoothie.

And well we let slip that it was going to be our anniversary the next day to the staff.... and unexpectedly..... when it hit 12am..... Yeap. They gave us that whole 'star treatment'. XD Made a whole lot of noise, got us to stand on chairs and do funny stuff... and well yea we made out too in front of the whole restaurant. XD hahahaha.... And yay complimentary ice cream!!! And then they kinda held us back for awhile cos they were printing + laminating this card for us to mark our special day. Oh gosh the whole thing was so, so unexpected.....


Thanks to them our first anniv is definitely going to be one that's hard to forget.... :)

So for the rest of the 9th... we went to church, ordered pizza and stayed home. And Ernie made some very cheesy beef dip and we had nachos too! ^^ Hehe awww.....

And thats our 1st anniversary for you. :) Me, and this absolutely charming, wonderful man. He's not all that perfect perhaps, you may say... but he's perfect enough for me. I've no regrets. One year and still going strong. For one year
has only made me love you more.
