Continuation of Bali pictures!
Haha you bored yet?
Camwhoring in the car
And Ernie wouldn't let me do it in in peace =.=
The babi hutan stealing my limelight =.=
He waits until the last minute and then pops his head in.
......... =.= *SHOVES*
Anyhoo. Here is out stopover at Pacung. More paddy terraces... and it was a very poor time we chose to come and visit. They were just replanting the paddy shoots... so all we see is muddy brownness... none of that green or gold that I saw my last trip there.
Another stopover on the mountain road before Bedugul. Wonderful scenery. Great weather too
Took some pics also with some exotic aminals this guy had with him along the road
*hearts* Kimmie looooves reptiles!
The temple at Bedugul/Lake Beratan. Unfortunately it was very crowded this time round cos they were having some religious ceremonies.
Beautiful... and the weather was very cooling as well, reminiscent of Camerons.
The religious procession going on
On the way down.... at Candi Kuning Vegetable Market. Also reminded me alot about the markets in Camerons
Oh and we stopped by a monkey reserve on the way to Tanah Lot.
This is Ernie getting mauled for having peanuts on him. LOL.
The serene forest paths
Oh and the monkeys here are seriously tame.... They come right up to you and are not afraid of people.
Like so. Lol.
Lunch at Tanah Lot temple.... MORE babi guling..... haha
And coconut water.... which is relatively cheaper there
Tanah Lot Temple. Us walking across the rocks to the main temple.
Very interesting for me considering I didn't get to walk over the last time cos it was high tide.
The water spilling in from the sea
A holy water spring at the base of the temple
Yup. This entire area will become covered with water during high tide, and the main temple will look just like an island on it's own.
View of the main temple from another cliff. Breathtaking.... and the sunset is spectacular too... only that this time round we were too early for it. You've never really visited Bali until you've gone to see Tanah Lot.
This is another natural cliff with a cave at Tanah Lot, with another smaller temple built upon it.
The beautiful view from the second, smaller temple. Felt extremely precarious tho.... being on this ledge with strong winds and no railings that extended out to the sea.
Pretty colours
Ernie posing again. Lol.
OK assignment time. I'm.... still really worn out. But hanging in there and hoping to sort stuff a.s.a.p. I'm still very worried regarding some stuff in uni and work.... might have some big news coming up but don't wanna jinx it. Yes. I'm superstitious when it comes to things like that.
Till next time.
