And so this is it.
The day I am still coming to terms with. The day I am still wondering about and going... "Gosh. Is this really happening??" And I still happen to be freaking out over it. Lol.

Apparently it was! My bags are packed... and I was ready to move out for the Red Garage 2010 calendar shoot!

Arrived at the Cahaya LRT station at 2pm+. Was a very long trip for me, coming from Taman Bahagia. Eddie picked me up from there and together we headed towards Galaxie Mall, Ampang where the shoot was being scheduled. The shoot was greatly delayed due to the rain, resulting in the showbikes being undelivered.

The arrival of the showbikes!!!

Beautiful......

Inside the complex where they were setting up.

Director/photographer Ted Adnan testing the lights.

And my wonderful makeup artist.

Okay and I've been told by alot of people before that I look like some pop star or another... one of the most recent being Lady Gaga..... =.=
But this is the first time where so many people mutually agreed I look like Mariah Carey. =.= *speechless*

All showbikes and roadbikes have arrived!! This floor of the complex is seriously awesome... I think it actually belongs to one of the guys, and the bikers were allowed to drive up inside and all around it from the carpark!!

Oh and guess what.... small, SMALL world. After some hanging around and chatting with the guys.... turns out EVERYONE knows Terry. XD FYI Terry is a fellow biker and owns a beautiful custom Harley. And DC, one of the guys I met in Johor during Mr. Malaysia... was there too!! We had no idea we were going to meet again so soon! It was such a pleasant surprise and abit of a relief also that I had someone to stick to in between the breaks. Adding on to the uncanny coincidence..... DC's grungy ride was one of the bikes I was assigned to!!

DC's bike's decal. ROFL. Damn funny.

One of the roadbikes.... not my assignment.... but still beautiful!!

I was assigned to one Exile Cycles Mok-Rod showbike and one roadbike (I'm sorry DC I can't remember your bike's make!!!). A dream come true indeed as I LOVE choppers and cruisers... have always wanted my very own Dragstar or Honda Shadow. Ask my parents or anyone that has known me enough - my motorcycle licence has long been a bone of contention between my parents and I. Grrrr!!! And I have been suggesting bike-related assignments to my past photographers to no avail (big bikes almost NEVER available), and was even considering asking Terry to loan me his!! And boom, here I am!!! :D So you can imagine the magnitude of my disbelief, excitement and anticipation.

And there was this STUNNING copper chrome West Coast Customs chopper I fell in love with at once. It was so handsome and huuuuuge, and you could imagine how heartbroken I was when I found out it wasn't my assigned bike. BUT Eddie and Ted were generous enough to let me have him for a practice shoot during my break!! And when they hollered at me to shoot... I wasn't in costume and was like, huh?? What...??? Oh dammit...!! XD

Sleek, shiny, sexy. :D

By the way, I will not be posting photos of myself or full pics of the bikes I photographed with. This is to honour their release date of the photos in October, hence I will not be publicly posting any pictures of me with the choppers until the official release. A roadshow will also be scheduled, and I will be there with the other models promoting the calendar, MY Chopperz magazine, and of course, Red Garage and their big bikes. :D

Oh yea they feed me well too. XD Beeeeeef!!!!! And they gave me coffee. :) Yaaay~

And this is also another first where I am complimented on my size and build as a model. Yup. Everywhere else doors are closing because of my rapid weight gain and increasing musculature. I have bowed out of fashion and glamour... had thoughts of retiring... but here are guys telling me NO!!! Don't leave!!! I was told that it was great to see a model with a proper build and some flesh on her bones, and it is much more appealing that way for a biker chick. And one of the guys actually shouted at me from off the set: "Front double bicep.... ready.... flex!!" XD I nearly fell off the bike laughing!!!

So I finished my sessions and thought that was it.... it was really, really late and the other models were finishing up and going home.... but that was when Eddie came to me and said, listen, we are going to assign you one more bike. And I went like.... omg. *stunned*. And I asked... "Which one?"

Well...

I died, went to heaven, and came back again.
They gave me the Harley Davidson Fat Boy!!! And it just so happens that it's my fave Harley model next to the Road King Classic!!!

That made me... the earliest model in, and the last one to exeunt as well. I finished shooting at nearly 12 midnight, but throughout the entire day I was on my toes skipping about, happily mingling and being cheerful... and also layan-ing spontaneous photo requests. I was so alert, motivated and energetic all day long!!~ The experience was most rewarding, and the "overtime" pay even more so. ;)

Today... I am staring at these pictures... still wondering if it was all just a dream I had woken up from. It was simply.... surreal. And I catch myself grinning from ear to ear all the time. :D

Thank you Red Garage, thank you Eddie and Ted.... and thank you to everyone that was involved in making this possible!!

World.... look out!! :D
