At this moment I'm seriously ticked off with my crap-ass excuse of a university. Sem break was supposed to be till 11th August. Or so I thought. Little did I know they sent us an email to our UNITAR mailboxes telling us sem break was cut short.... and classes begin TODAY. What rubbish. I had no idea... until a coursemate sent an odd sms asking "Where are you??". Like, AT LEAST have the courtesy to send notifications to our student portals... or our regular emails... NOT some fucking stupid campus email account. FYI... our UNITAR addies are....
[name][student number]@unitar.edu.my. Which makes my addy....
kimberleychaiKJC0950087@unitar.edu.my
WHO THE FUCK WOULD USE AN EMAIL ADD LIKE THAT!?!?!? YOU TELL ME LAH!!!
My student portal timetable wasn't updated either until LAST NIGHT. Talk about short notice!!! AND I'm expecting to work overtime. FUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!
Anyways.
Back from a lovely weekend with the boy... one of the things we absolutely look forward to week after week. But this week was special. Why, you ask?
Cos IFBB Pro and Mr. Olympia competitor Markus Ruhl was in town!!!
And if you don't know, I'm a big fan of the Markusaurus and those boulderlike shoulders. A bodybuilder of such caliber!!! This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience I wasn't about to pass up!
Waiting like hawks hours before time in front of Egonutritions. We were first in line!!!
Oh yea and this is my new outfit which I specially picked out for the occasion. :D It's one of my complimentary dresses I got out of the shoot for Layla boutique and I simply LOVE the colour.
Yes I know it's been awhile since I posted pics of myself. I'm coming out of the ugly phase so please be nice.
AND THERE HE COMES!!!!!! *squeal!!*
Markus... followed by his wife Simone. He is HUUUUUGE!!!!!!
Ernie getting an autograph
Check out the wicked outline of his frame under that shirt!! He was really ripped too in spite of his size... prepping for Mr. Olympia next month.
And this is me and Markus. :)
SUCH a friendly, easy-going guy... and very fluent in English. Tim, the owner of Ego was telling me how he actually was really cranky and tired deep down... and the camera flashes actually distress him. He's under such tremendous pressure from the dieting and contest prep, and why he's in a loose shirt instead of a more impressive tank top is cos at this point it is absolutely crucial should someone spot a weakness so close to the Olympia. The entire gym had to close too as no one is allowed to see him train. But despite all that stress... he was approachable and amicable with the fans. Not one bit of arrogance or aloofness!
He was even nice enough to allow me another photo with him and his wife after the sessions have ended! Funny too - he smiled and rolled his eyes at me good-naturedly when one of Ego's photographers kept asking Ernie and I to pose for a group pic with him and Simone. :D
We met Wong there too pretty unexpectedly! The last time we did was like, one, two years ago???? He's another really great and loveable guy with a real good personality. :D
And upon request of his eager fans.... he stripped off his shirt and posed for them!!
Gosh and guess what... out of nowhere... this random girl approached me and asked if she could have a photo with me! Like whoa!!!! She told me I had a great body and would love to look like me someday..... *stunned*. Like ohmigosh. I was in (pleasant) shock! But what motivation it was...!! Haha. Aiiieee time to go whack weights!!
Had lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. later (yay!).... and lol guess what... Markus was there too having his break. XD
And later that night we went to meet this really talented martial artist, Antonio, from Brooklyn, NY. He's travelled all over the world learning different types of martial arts, and has made documentaries and been on shows like Fight Quest, Human Weapon and etc. Had another ball of a time chilling out and laughing over all the stories he had to tell!
Well that's all I have for now... I've got to go scramble to pack up for uni tommorow (UGH!)... and I'm looking forward to meeting my new colleague tonight. It's going to be the first day in the implementation of the new system at the gym too, and I will be now 100% concentrating on training - no more stock check, admin work and stuff like that.
Oh and GOOD NEWS! :D
I think this marks an important moment in my modeling career. I have been somewhat negative about my transitioning into swimsuit and lingerie and my whole future in the industry in general. Even more so from some of the negative comments and nasty remarks my uber-sexed, carwash-themed photoshoot has drawn, resulting in some photographers being reluctant to release them. BUT... every cloud has it's silver lining, no?
I was offered to shoot for Red Garage Malaysia.
I went like, whaaaaaaaaaat!?!?!?
Red Garage happens to be the authorised dealer of West Coast Choppers, Easyriders Roadware, Exile Cycles and etc. It has been an absolute dream to shoot with big bikes since the beginning of time - I'm a huge fan of big bikes. Was even considering scouting for a team and a bike to rent for awhile for the sheer heck of realising this dream. And BAM! Out of NOWHERE.... comes this. And I was so, so scared of talking or even thinking about it for fear of jinxing it... but now that everything has been confirmed........... :DDDD OMGOMG I'M FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!! Good things come just when you're not looking out for em'. :)
Till next time.... wish me luck!
[edit @ 2pm] OK I knew I passed all my subjects.... but I just realised I had gotten an A or A- for every single subject last semester. O.o Including IT. Like.... omg. *dies* Somebody smack me this can't be frigging right..... XD
