MERRY CHRISTMAS!! ^^ Hope everyone will have a good year ahead filled with many blessings and smiles...
Lols. Well I hope everyone has had a great Christmas weekend... mine had been unexpectedly awesome, given that for the past few years my Christmases had been kinda crappy and even depressing to some extent... and yes my mood has definitely lightened compared to how I was feeling since my last entry. So yeah, updates updates!!
I'm so so proud of my Ernie... He's gone and gotten himself a supporting role in a local Tamil movie, and another role in a Hindi series that is to be aired in Bombay! There has even been talk about flying him to India to finish the movie. Hahaha... things have really been hectic for him and schedules have been craaaaaazy, but I'm definitely happy for him for his achievements career-wise, and hope to stand by him through thick and thin. Here are some kickass photos from the random sets of the shootings!! (Wheee my very own poster boy XD)
And for the first time in dunno-how-many years, we spent Christmas away from my depressing, uber-boring kampung, Bahau. Went to Cameron Highlands and my trip there was surprisingly enjoyable and memorable, despite my many protests about having to go there - my last trip there, 4-5 years ago had been less-than-pleasant. Boy was I wrong! Mom even asked if Ernie wanted to come, but well my baby had to work, and besides, heck its kinda early for him to be coming with us on like, a family outing... We've only been dating a month+!! So yeap here is a picture heavy summary of Kim's weekend with her family! Most of the pics feature either my mom or me cos the men were too lazy to take pics...
They got these huuuugeass hibiscus flowers...
Pretty... =)
Some pretty bizarre-looking plants too...
And Kimmie still puts everything into her mouth...
Mom and her plant-buying frenzy, from Stop One itself!
One of the MANY markets along the way
View of the farmlands from the top of the valley
Fresh cherry tomatoes! So cheap too, and we ended up buying soo much of em...
Yep, I'm wearing baby's jacket...!!~
Passion fruit... Pretty, no? Well don't buy this. It sucks. Yuck. Tak boleh makan.
This on the other hand is really interesting... They're called Cameron apples, but look and taste nothing like apples, lol. In fact they taste like mini honeydews!!
Mom went all out and all the way with her spending... spurging on these gorgey watches in town. I was like... wtf??? Whoaa talk about impulse buying!
I think traffic jams are becoming something characteristic of Malaysia... yes there are jams up in Cameron too... Massive ones snaking up the hills...
And going on even thru the night... Must be the peak season... Tsk.
Oh yeah, don't go to eat steamboat when you're in Cameron... costs a bomb for so little... nothing impressive. Just novelty and a waste of cash.
Knowing me... theres GOT to be a gym wherever I travel. So yea hit the hotel gym only to find...
This. Seriously. One weight station and two miserable benches. And two (pretty broken down) steppers. Well ok, decent enough for a workout... but get this - there was only ONE PIN for the entire weight station. Like, c'mon that's ridiculous!! But still... managed to wrangle a passable back-day.
And alaaa got camera phone... sudah lanxi... XD
Yes we got pasar malam here too... Incredibly crowded tho... Tsk. But oh dammit the deep-fried straw mushrooms were so, so good...
Picture perfect. =) The BOH Tea plantation on Day Two
Haha thats my adorable bro... XD
Lol this looks so photoshopped... but its not. I swear this pic is not edited. XD
I look like some giant crawling up the landscape... O.O hehe

Speaking of which... my Christmas this year would not have been complete without spending time with my man, who conveniently did not have to work today. Our first Christmas together. Hehe. =) I was surprised, actually, that mom allowed me to go out with him after all her threats about 'house arrest'. But well nobody's complaining. =P We went to Carnival, this Brazilian barbeque buffet restaurant near Wisma Atria. I had a really good time... food was great - about 10 different types of meat!! Plus a really unique serving concept and dining experience. On top of that... dammit I missed Ernie sooo much just seeing him again was awesome enough!
Was raining so hard and my mom dropped us off at the restaurant just in the nick of time!
And yeah that's how they serve... they go around bringing the food to you on huge skewers and carve as much as you want into your plate. ^^
And this is their grilled pineapple... God it's sooooo good, it's just da bomb... I had soooo much of it! XD
Ok yeah, damn we didn't take a picture together, but whatever lah. We had a great time together nevertheless, and tho there was abit of a 'transport problem' towards the end of the night cos I definitely couldn't let my parents pick me and catch me at his house (oh yea we took a cab back there after dinner when my dad was supposed to pick us up from Atria XD)... he had to call Ashley spontaneously to come pick us and send me home. XD Thaaaaank you Ashley you're a lifesaver!! And thank you Ernie for the night and for dinner... Counting down the days till I get to hold you in my arms again and feel you so close to me =) xoxo
Once again... Merry Christmas everybody ^^ Till next time!
