PROM NITE!!! and other sweet simplicities

Friday night was awesome. PROM NITE!!!!

This is what I've been waiting for... for so long... =) A chance to be dolled up to the nines... all the makeup and glam... hehe. Well call me crazy for putting such high hopes and excitement into one single prom, but well I've always had a real penchant for flair, attention, and even better.... kicking dirt in the faces of those who have put me down in the past for being fat, ugly and not good enough. Like, remember "that fat chick who thinks she's so hot and all that"? Well... look where your "fat chick" is today and what she's become. It's MY TURN TO BURN.

And ok... I won't go into detail about that cos this is not supposed to be an angsty post. I'm supposed to be happy and hyper and annoyingly perky. ^^ So brace yourselves for a super long, picture heavy post with a plethora of exclaimation marks.

Hehe.... I was especially particular about my dress (who isn't??) - I'm a big fan of extreme cuts and clingy fabrics... my dress had to be the epitome of that. One that would stand out, turn heads, grab attention. =) On top of that Ernie wasn't allowed to see it until the prom itself, cos I really wanted him to go WOW. Like, totally hit him smack in the face with it.

So. Tell me I did a good job, no? ;-)

Ooooo my God I love it when Ernie puts on his suit. I don't care what anyone else says but he looked incredibly gorgeous that night... sizzling! I couldn't take my eyes (and hands) off him!! I am one lucky gal~ keke

The ticket, which we got from Prash (one of Nish's friends)... THANK GOD... no student ID fiasco. And Ernie cleared security (masquerading as Chia Chern XD) like a breeze.

And that's pretty much it! Prom was just... AWESOME. Up to expectations, and SO much more... made even more special that I had my man right by my side. Hehe... it wouldn't have been complete without my Ernie. Ooh and goodness, guess what! He's OFFICIALLY allowed to sleep in my room. Fo' real. Previously there was alot of sneaking around... he would stay and snuggle up in my room but wake up at 4am to go to his own room. But then... before we left for the prom... my mom came to me...

"Ask Ernie sleep with you tonight. Next time also he sleeps in your room. Better like that. Save aircon. He works so hard... let him spend more time with you also lah."

WHAAAAT!?

I thought she was joking... but then we came home to find an extra blanket in my room... so she's serious. WTF!!! But hey... who am I to complain... ;-)

14 June 08... I'll just stuff today's events in here as well since I got pics to post =)
Got up pretty late today... and on very last-minute notice my parents decided to go to 1U to catch a movie... so Ernie and I decided to quickly book tix online for ourselves and Simon to watch The Incredible Hulk. Pretty good movie... OOOoooo damn the trailer for Hellboy is so, so gooood!!! Wanna watch wanna watch!!

Then it's going to Seoul Garden for lunch... I ADORE that place, I tell you!

And then.... randomness... there was this event going on in conjunction to Father's Day in front of Pick n' Brew cafe... you know those pretty heart shapes and cool artwork you see on the top of hot lattes and cappuchinos? This was a "Latte Graffiti" competition to see who could design the best picture with syrup on the latte foam within 3 minutes!! Spontaneously... all 3 of us signed up to join!

Got quite a lot of stuff... mostly kitchenware including a really nice crockery set , which I think is fab cos I like cooking alot! On top of that I have a whole load of vouchers and freebies... including...

I'll be going back to 1U next week to get my CD of photos some reporters took from Pick n' Brew... Please don't look like a zillion pounds of blubber x.x

And after that... Ernie took part in the eating competition at Paddington House of Pancakes, scarfing down 16 pancakes to win second prize!! And that's after a huge Korean BBQ buffet and one big mug of hot latte. My bf has a bottomless pit of a gut...

Hehe... the day was certainly full of surprises. Among the goodies he got was a really neat voucher entitiling him to RM150 worth of drinks at the bar in One World Hotel! Yaaay we go ber-dating there one day ok, sayang? ^^ Meow!

And tommorow... Simon kor is gonna pow the eating competition at Burger King.... XD

Then of course... off to do what Kim's totally PRO at - lingerie shopping!!! Hey I wasn't selfishly dragging the two helpless men with me ok... Simon needed consultation on getting a gift for his gal Anie, as he'll be visiting her soon in Kuching. So yup! At the same time... I took the chance to do some browsing myself. *happy*

I'm naming it Baby Ernie for the moment, lol... cos it really reminds me of all the cute faces he makes and Ernie is the Iron Lion after all. =) So yup. That's what it's called until I find a better name for it. XD Yaaay I'll sayang it and bring it around with me so I'm always reminded about him~ and if Big Ernie pisses me off I take it out on Baby Ernie. XD LOL JOKING LA YOU SEE THAT THING SO CUTE MANA SAMPAI HATI????

WTF it's 3am... I gotta get to bed lah. Cardio tommorow morning!!! Woooohoo! All the best to Simon stuffing down those burgers... Such a pity Ernie and I can't be there (free burgers, my gaaawd!) cos we're heading to Klang for Mr Selangor 2008!!!! My bros Faidzal and Rosli will be battling it out on-stage... I hope this is gonna be good. =) And of course... you get the news first-hand on here. Hehe... you can expect another picture post pretty soon!!
