Hello all! We are back in KL after our 5 days and 4 nights in Singapore, and our brief stopover in Ernie's hometown, Kluang. It was one helluva trip and we most definitely had fun. Interesting places to visit, good food, great shopping.

Naaaah not so great. No shopping this trip. Exchange rates are BOOM!! And no sales. Hmph.

And of course... knowing me... I took lots and lots of photos. Furthermore when I decided that one of the most essential pieces of camwhoring equips is going to be tagging along - my tripod. :P

The bustrip down was smooth, including passing thru immigration and walking from Bugis to Little India in search of our inn (tho we did stupidly go around in circles for awhile. Hahahah...).

Basically we stayed 3 nights in a private room and the last one in a dormitory. Very comfy and cosy, despite having to share certain amenities like bathrooms and the kitchen with other guests. Excellent service, and on top of that the location of the inn is very centralized - walking distance from Bugis and Orchard Road, certain MRT stations, bus-stops and shuttle pick-up points. Two thumbs up! :D

We thought we'd check out some of the many franchise/concept restaurants in Singapore which were not available in Malaysia while we were there too. Such a pity that Taco Bell closed down... we were so hyped about having some of that!

Dinner the first night was at Mad Jack Prinsep Street.. basically some Aussie fast food chain. Burgers and stuff.
