Y'know something about DC/Marvel/Chaos....

Their characters are beautiful...... but then later on...
You realise how anatomically inaccurate and unrealistic they are... which, more often than not, throw off costuming projects and burn cash. =.= And while on paper it looks fab.... in real life they tend to tear/break/slip/tangle/constrict/be ridiculously uncomfortable and unpractical.
PFFT.

Things seem to be going pretty smoothly :D Looks like it's going to be a pretty busy weekend!!

Oh and the other hand... I'm not much of a fan of big handbags my old Puma neon pink bag broke some time ago cos I used to stuff it so full with my heavy boots and other items... and on top of that it's being used for practically everything - college, gym, shopping.................. so I've been on the lookout ever since for a new one, to no avail. :(

Bought from one of her contacts who orders and supplies handbags/luggage bags/wallets etc. Wheee!!! Finally!!! A cute, pink bag that's big enough to store my makeup, accessories, clothes and most importantly, my shoes for jobs!! It's not quite big enough for overnight stints... but will do for now :)

Oh that wasn't all.....
I wanted to head to NiuZheXui in KJ to visit my fave makeup shop to replenish a new bottle of foundation. Expensive things, ack, but (sadly) necessary.... Was also on the lookout for some dark glittery eyeshadow....... And......


Okay. Wasnt supposed to buy THIS much....... Technically I only picked the foundation and one pot of eyeshadow but mom fell in love with some of the other colours there and ended up purchasing them.

Damn "drama" at the gym today...... O.o

Was running on one of the treadmills facing the window, with one of the guys at about 8pm+... where the sky has just turned dark. Nothing very exciting. Just the thump-thump of our feet... the news on TV... and iPod blaring Metallica. And all of a sudden, my pal stopped running and bent himself double, as if he was bracing himself on the machine due to some serious cramps. And then I realised he was trying to look out of the window.



Cos on the main road below us were a group of people running in the darkness.... (couldn't hear anything cos my iPod was still plugged in...) and then a mass of bodies colliding. The first thing that occured to me was, oh God there's a streetfight going on just in front of the gym!!! Right in front of the police quarters too!! And then we saw a huge buff dude running down from the gym, still wearing his lifting belt, to join the commotion... and I'm like OMG that's Faidzal going down there!!!! FYI he's the biggest guy in the gym....

But the brawling stopped before Faidzal reached them, and the gang of men marched off........



O.o What just happened down there??

This did: An Indian woman was at the newly opened Speedmart next to the gym paying for her groceries... and some guy snatched her bag, right at the counter!! Very, VERY unfortunately for the thief, he picked the wrong day and the wrong time to pull something like that...............


The Muay Thai boys were sitting at the mamak chilling out.

AND they gave chase. 5 or 6 of them. One on a motorcycle. They chased the thief a little distance right down to the nasi lemak kukus stall in front of the police quarters (which is what I saw from the window) and caught him there. I mean, heck, try outrunning a pack of superfast fighters!! And they beat the effing shit out of him. Then he was escorted off to the police station.

Pretty sad for the bloke, ain't it? Of all people who could've caught and beaten him up.... Ain't he at least a lil lucky Faidzal didn't get to add to the carnage...........


Well...... here's a reminder to all, to be extra careful especially with the economic downturn and crime rates on the rise. Even more so when these things CAN happen so close to home, and these people are as daring as to snatch a bag or rob you inside a convenience store itself.

Yes. Ernie had a haircut today.

On the way to the salon.... *sigh* His hair was that long okay.... such a waste.....

Sean, a friend from gym offered to give him a haircut... and cos his studio is in Cyberjaya he said he'd do it at his friend's salon in SS3 for our convenience.... How nice of him!

:( Looking at those long locks of hair... knowing they're gonna be all snipped off in the next coupla mins... is even more depressing that I thought it would be.

Don't get me wrong tho - Sean is an awesome stylist. Which is why I also have more trust in him for cutting Ernie's hair... and even LET him... =.= And I most definitely appreciate his offer to give Ernie a good, proper cut for our upcoming shoot. It's just.... aaaarrrgh!!! *throws fit*

Lol..... a big, biiiiiig THANK YOU to Andi who ordered this beautiful wig for me on Ebay from Hong Kong.... and it arrived within 3 days - in time for May 1st!!! You're such a lifesaver, Andi.... really put an end to all my worrying and anxiety due to unforeseen circumstances. :D *HUGS* It's originally a wavy wig... can't complain too much cos it was already so last minute... so I'm having it treated with warm water and conditioner to straighten it... and letting it drip dry on my tripod. It looks really really great and the colour is perfect - hope I can carry it off tho!!!

Ok lah it should be very obvious now as to who I'm cosplaying this May... I've given out too much info lol. Till then!

Oooh I've been busy, busy, busy. And ironically.... I'm going to be starting my studies soon and may have to give up working part-time at the gym... which really sucks considering the number of clients I have is just starting to grow steadily......

Yeap. I've just gotten my offer to study at UNITAR. Ho-hum, here I go. Wheee. On the bright side.... it's two blocks away from the gym so if I'm ever missing from class you know where to find me.

Anyways I've found a new hobby!

Yay I'm turning into a soft, demure little girl who sits at home with a sewing kit all day~
Hahaha naaah I'm kidding but who would've thought one of my most despised classes during highschool turned out to be the one I am so thankful for doing... But guess I shouldn't get too carried away and end up abandoning some of my cosplay projects!

And a coupla weeks ago Ernie brought me to Kanna Curry House... where he used to have breakfast every Sunday before going to church. It's so crowded that we actually had to wait for some time before there was a spare table.

They also have this concept where they bring you the dishes in trays... like how they do at dim sum restaurants... and you pick what you want from them. That plate on the far right corner of that pic is some pretty good curry prawns... but don't order that cos it's freaking expensive - RM10 for that little bit!


Fried salty chilli.... I actually like these alot even tho some people think they're disgusting...


And an all-time fave... fried crispy bittergourd!

Tried their special 3-layer-tea... Which is teh, evaporated milk, and gula melaka at the bottom.

Oh yea... we gave Ernie's car a thorough wash too very recently....
My God we NEVER knew that old car could look so clean and new!!

My bro giving it a shine with that electric car polisher he got my dad for his birthday.

That used to be so spotted with grime and covered in patchy stains (ick!)...... but after alot of rubbing and scrubbing with soap it looks as good as new!

Eh I even took the pains to clean the little bits like the aircon vents, in between the seams, corners and etc!

Btw I've gotten my pics for HGAF from Outpost... so do expect some backdated pics in the next few days. :)

And woohoo!!! I got my new crazy colour contacts!!!

Check out that gorgeous violet!!! It's alot more subtle than my usual near-white, icy blue shade of colour contacts... and most of the colour only shows up under flash... but I love love, LOVE them so much

Clearer, more intense pic... gorgey colours... yay!!
