Fuuuh.... *heaves sigh of relief* The Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Official Launch went smoothly. :D It was held at Leo's Cafe, SS2. It has to be one of the more exhausting events I've done... Leather jacket + hot sun???

But the photoes and response from the public were worth it. :) I had fun... I had to deliver the premiere edition of the game to officialize the launch. As Natasha, the Soviet Commando. Came in a red Soviet-themed Volks, with escorts... and had to do some salute before handing over the case. Best thing was, Lester and Solomon who were dressed up as members of the SWAT were 'supposed' to bring in the game, pretend it wasn't in the case and they lost it, and cause a panic. And then Natasha'd turn up and catch everyone by surprise!

And guess what... I didn't expect to be working with Alison, who I first met during P24, and later at the Racequeen Search! Small, small world... :D And there was her friend, Sue who was supposed to be portraying an alternative version of Tanya. Both these gorgeous girls were supposed to be my 'escorts' for the entry. And as always... my boyfriend Ernie came right after his driving class to support me. *feels incredibly loved* Hehe. I'll share the rest of the story in pictures... don't have many now tho...

Fans lined up since 11am to grab copies of the game!! And to think the launch was only going to begin at 4pm....

Photos with the fans. Sue's the chick in the green beret and Alison's the babe in blue. And of course, Solomon and Lester are the two handsome guys in tactical gear. Haha...
Sorry that I don't have a better pic yet!!!!

And these shots are courtesy of my darling Ernie. :D

Oh wells. Bye for now... ;) Look out for more pics!!
Grrr gotta update portfolio.... lazy lazy lazy.... XD

As anticipated.... the weekend was smashing. :D

Cineleisure's Hallowe'en Promo went great and was a huge hit with the crowds. I had loads of fun, despite coming home thoroughly exhausted and sore. Doing a costume event 2 days back to back is NO JOKE! Fuuh... on top of that the 6-inchers I wore for my goth queen ensemble really force you to stand straight... Even more so for Ernie who was The Incredible Hulk for both days. Bare feet, continuous flexing and posing. Ouch. But day 2 was more of a relief for me. I was supposed to be in my Victorian gown for both days but due to some delays at the tailor and my requiring to do a costume fit + shoot for next week's Command & Conquer launch... we were severely short on time and Natasha Volkova debuted 2 days early. ;)

Yes yes, Alan... don't have to look so excited about getting to molest my boy up down left right... geez... XD hahahaha

I don't have any other photos yet... still waiting for them to be sent to me. Will get around to posting them soon.

Can't wait for tommorow's event to be over.... I wanna go stuff my face already!! Arrrrgh!!

Nothing better to do-ness (LOL sorry lah Jared I just so had to steal ur bloggie title ^^)...

Finally got my pics from my cheongsam shoot back. Damn. Has to be one of my most unsuccessful shoots ever. I look too doll-like in some pics... Constipated, or looking like I'm trying hard not to laugh while being vehemently tickled... and in others I'm just too dragqueen-esque. And fat. HOMIGAWD. WTF wei... What in hell possessed me to do such unflattering poses!? But I guess I could blame it on the depression and hopelessness I was going thru during the time of the shoot (which got so bad till mom had to ask Ernie to come stay with me...) BUT STILL... T.T

Ok... ok.... therapy time....

10 things you might not know about me:
1) I don't on the fan until at least 12pm cos it's cold. And sometimes don't sleep with the aircon or fain on, with blankets. Yes. In Malaysia.
2) I'm currently addicted to playing online games... thanks to Ernie. =.=
3) I put alot of things in my mouth. Sometimes unconciously.
4) I like plain wheat tortillas!!! Especially when they're warm and toasty!!!
5) Brazilian waxing is very therapeautic.
6) I attempt to emulate female wrestlers alot where fashion is concerned
7) I generally have difficulty getting along with non-bodybuilders... it's something I'm still trying hard to overcome. *sigh* And to think my idiotic buds at the gym never fail to surprise me... NOT in a good way. Lol.
8) Plastic surgery fascinates me
9) I used to have an overbite and needed braces... long before my modeling days.
10) I have retired from modeling to focus on the love of my life and essence of my soul - BODYBUILDING.

9 places I've visited:
1) KL. Haha. 2) Beijing 3) Chengde 4) Tianjin 5) Ping-yao 6) BANGKOK!!!!! 7) Singapore 8) Redang... lol 9) Erm... Langkawi. XD

8 ways to win my heart:
1) Keep your hair reaaaally long.... ^^
2) Lift alot of weights and eat alot of meat. Lol.
3) Make me laugh... willingly... even when you know it makes you look stupid.
4) Let me have your coffee!!!!!!! *evil laughter*
5) Being able to cook... a definite plus. ;)
6) Buy me sweet treats... take me out for a fancy dessert!
7) Dress up and make an effort to look good for me...
8) Let me get into your pants alot. XD HAHAHAHAHAHA

7 things I want to do before I die:
1) Be further involved in bodybuilding than I am now.
2) Invest in property or a business
3) Visit Golds Gym Venice Beach, California
4) Have plastic surgery.
5) Go to watch one of the huuuuge bodybuilding shows in the States
6) Hmmm... do a bike marathon?
7) Settle down with Mr. Right. Get married.

6 things I am afraid of:
1) Losing people I love
2) Be stuck in a situation where there is NO GYM ACCESSIBLE........ Yaaaaaaarrrrgh!!!!!
3) Catching my significant other cheating on me... and having to deal with the aftermath. How would you like me to give you a gastric bypass without anaesthetic, bitch!?
4) The cold *is overly possessive of hot-water bottles*
5) Becoming fat, slobby and disgusting.
6) Having kids.

5 things I don't like:
1) Ridiculously overpriced yet tasteless clothing
2) Ballet flats or any kind of shoe without a heel. How the heck can you wear that without falling down!?
3) Bodily hair
4) Dieting
5) People telling me how ugly I look now cos I'm "too muscular". For that... "don't like" is an understatement.

4 ways to turn me OFF:
1) Telling me to stop lifting weights.
2) Telling me you want to look like some Korean/Jap bishie-looking singer/rapper/actor dude. Sorry man I think you need a lobotomy if y'wanna chance it with me... Kimmie's kinda guys: Jay (CUTLER, not Chou), Gunter, Victor, Arnold, Triple H, the Musclehedz dude... You get the idea.
3) Poor hygiene.
4) Having contagious STDs. EWW.

3 things I do every day:
1) Eat. Alot.
2) Surf the net.
3) Disturb boyfriend.

2 things that make me happy:
1) Surprises! Pleasant ones, lol... not the "Honey I'm pregnant" variety.
2) Guess who. ;) Meow!

1 thing on my mind right now:
I'm fcking hungry and want my chocolate chip cookies. Hmph. And I shall eat them off somebody's naked body............

Benjamin "Ben" Weider
1st February 1924 - 17th October 2008

Flexonline.com: "Ben Weider, who in tandem with his brother Joe, took bodybuilding from an underground pastime to a worldwide movement practiced by millions, died suddenly on Friday October 17 in his native Montreal, Canada. He was 85 years old... "

"Throughout their unparalleled odyssey and its numerous setback and challenges Ben and Joe never lost sight of, or faith, in continually elevating the sport of bodybuilding and bringing it to the widest audience possible. And even though he was 85, Ben's energy and passion for the sport was, as always, much in evidence at the 2008 Olympia three weeks ago."

"...This is an immensely sad day for our sport and is indeed the end of an era. Ben's steadying hand and wise counsel will be sorely missed as bodybuilding wends its way though the next few years. After over 60 years the Ben and Joe partnership on this earth is no more, and in truth only mortality could ever have ended it."

Definitely came as a sudden shock when I read in the papers this morning that one of the forefathers of the noble sport, Ben Weider, has indeed passed on. His achievements include founding and running a physical fitness and sporting goods company bearing his name. He was IFBB president until October 29th 2006, when he announced his retirement. He also donated a gym to the Israeli Knesset. In 2008, he was awarded the lifetime achievement award at the Arnold Classic 2008.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Ben is also instrumental in launching Arnold Schwarzenegger's career in the United States - the ultimate stepping stone and mentor towards The Austrian Oak's leap to famedom - competing AND winning the world's most prestigious bodybuilding championship (Mr Olympia) six times; movie-stardom, and is today the Governor of California, no less! Who would've thought... the pinncle of bodybuilding success, Schwarzenegger, owed it all to Ben.

Ben and Arnold... the early days.

The cause of Ben's sudden death is still unknown, and his spokesperson has revealed that he had not been ill.... and has been working out everyday until his death. A warrior until the very end.

To live in the hearts of those we leave is not to die.
RIP Ben Weider.

Club Quattro

Hehe... I just got home from dinner and am in the mood for blogging... Lol. *random*
Just got back from the 888 Food Court opposite CLGC with my family and Ernie. I'm not usually a big fan of hawker food but I gotta admit I kinda enjoy going to that place... I absolutely love the Korean dishes, hakka lei cha and pan mee! However I was pretty dissapointed today... ordered some honey chicken chop from the western food stall... only to get this miserably flattened piece of chicken (to make it alot alot bigger than it actually is =.= seriously, it was SO THIN you need to see it to believe it) with alot of skin and fat. The 'honey' sauce also isn't the thick, yummy, golden-looking mixture in the picture... more like just a slosh of water, honey and salt. Ugh.... if that wasnt bad enough it came with so much fries and a sea of coleslaw bigger than the piece of chicken itself.... =.= And whats more I don't usually eat coleslaw cos of all that icky mayo but this time I had no choice cos I was starving..... T.T

Ah well. That aside.... I think I owe you pics from my night out at Club Quattro. :D

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usImage Hosted by ImageShack.us
My attempt to do leopard prints... =.= Clumsy, clumsy. Tsk should've gone with a lighter base...

And then there was the transport fiasco... And I had to go back and get my other pair of boots cos my new ones were biting my heels... But we got there in the end alright, and upon arrival at the club everything was smooth sailing thanks to our placing on the VIP list!! :P

Basically Club Quattro goes by the concept of the four seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
And here we are at the Autumn Club!! Basically it's the first room you step into upon entry. Also very Japanese-themed with paper lanterns, opera masks and waitresses dressed in sexy silk kimonos. ^^

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The view from our "capsule" seat...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
And that night, Kimmie was top-to-tail in LEATHERWEAR!! :P

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
At the every beck and call of my "master"? Hehe...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
And outside the club area, facing KLCC... is the semi open-air Spring Lounge. More toned-down music and a quieter, brighter, breezier atmosphere. More 'breathing space'? Lol... They have a live band too!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
There's also this rain corridor at the Spring Lounge, which also serves as an exit. Basically it "rains" for five minutes at a certain time hourly, and umbrellas are provided for anyone who wishes to cross. Interesting!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The Summer Restaurant... which opens even during the day from 11am. Food was provided for VIP guests and the media people... so there we were to pick up the tidbits! :P

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
One floor up... the Winter Bar. The temperature here is around 15 Celcius and below, complete with real fireplaces and stuff. The bouncers were even dressed in smart trenchcoats, and waitresses in cute Eskimo outfits. ^^ On top of that... it was my favorite area of the club as no smoking was allowed there, and there is a limit to how many people could enter, preventing it from overcrowding. We were lucky to have gotten in early cos the queue outside when we left was CRAZY!!!!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
And another of Quattro's attractions would be the Winter Bar's snow room. ^^

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Spontaneous pic of Ernie chilling ^^

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
He had 4 double-shots of vodka and whiskey... Well, it was FOC after all!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
And thats me showing off my favorite thong at the end of the night :P

In a nutshell.... it was one helluva nightclub and we enjoyed our experience, definitely. If I had one complain it would be that there was no dancefloor that night as they had to put tables on the floor to accomodate the crowd, but that couldn't be help as hey, it was the launch nite after all and it was bound to happen. :) But we did dance very very briefly in the middle of the Winter Bar, despite the fact that it wasn't meant for dancing at all! LOL.

Without a doubt, Quattro is gonna be seeing us back in future. :)

Quattro was AWESOME.

The launch went really well... club could accomodate despite the insane Facebook RSVP - much MUCH less people turned up compared to the unrealistic 4 thousand who 'confirmed' attendance. Free entrance, and all the vodka, whiskey and gin you can drink - free flow! Great club... great ambience... and would you believe it or not we were on the VIP list cos Ernie knew 'inside people' and hence didn't have to queue and shit despite being late???? ;) Dammit that man is indispensable for reasons more than one... hehe. My only complain was that they had to put tables on the dancefloor to accomodate the still-large crowd but I suppose that's cos it's the launch-nite and heck of course it was gonna be packed to the brim...

But still. Despite the hassle getting there (some of it my fault too) it was worth it. ^^

But well I'm lazy to post them pics now so watch this space y'all.... Will be up real, real soon I promise but right now, believe it or not... I wanna go play WoW. No not DOTA... but the campaign thingy cos my bro got me hooked on it and now I wanna find out whats in the next chapter... Wei I like the story mode thingy cannot ah? *pout* Whee I like Illidan. :P lmao whats wrong with me......

Oh, as for my previous post.... I have atoned for my sins. ;)

I am one helluva stupid, careless girlfriend.

And I should worship my boy' feet for being so forgiving, understanding and so darn perfect that I can't believe he's real... :( sighs.... Thank you love... and I'm sorry... I really am...

yeaSigh. My deepest apologies for the tirade of very emo, angsty posts. This blog seems to be reverting to become like my old one - full of depressing, angry stories. *gloom* Furthermore when I'm not going to college already to keep myself occupied. What's a girl to do then? Blog. Vent it all out in words, and trawl other people's blogs for happy posts to lighten my own mood.

So all you people on my blog roll... your updates are very important to me, you see! :D Haha...

Last night was probably the peak of the conflict... and I hope it will wane from there cos I'm so done with all the crying and shouting and I'm so sick of my face being swollen and painful for the past few days... and my morale at the gym has been low too despite having my boy with me. I want to see the bright side again. :)

Want to go to get a spanking new red dress. A sexy, casual one... not like the flouncy one I have that I only dare wear to parties. X.X

I still want a new corset.

And as always.... I want to go clubbing again. :P Wanna put on my chainmail and leather. Sky-high lashes and shimmer. Big sexy hair. Hehe it's been waaaaay too long.

"In particular, it is claimed that the family is NOT ALWAYS the warm loving institution painted by functionalists. The nuclear family is so small that it turns members in on themselves. If the family is functional, it is more functional for men than it is for women. Moreover, socialisation within the family is sometimes crippling for the personality of the child. The set roles that make up the family can be the arena of conflict rather than harmony."
- CIE, pg125-

ref: Parson's basic functions of the family - The manteinence of adult personalities:
"The family home is a haven where the pressures of the outside can be escaped. The parents can indulge in childish behavior through the children, for example, by playing with their toys. They can recharge their batteries and relax in a harmonious environment, free from strain and stress. This appears to be a function which services males, for the female rarely escapes her place of work to 'recharge' "
-CIE, pg 124-

"Within the family, the man is the bourgeois, and the wife represents the proletariat."
- Friedrich Engels, CIE pg 127- and immediately afer that line:
"In other words, the set-up of family, with the man having all the economic and legal power, is effectively a trap for women."

"Far from being the basis of a good society, the family, with it's narrow and tawdry secrets, is the source of all our discontents."
-Edmund Leach, CIE pg 130-

"According to Laing, the individual self, present at birth, has to be suppressed and controlled. The child learns to repress it's real self and present one that it's parents approve of. This then becomes the person, and the real self is 'murdered'. Parents, having killed off the real child, then proceed to subject the model child to an emotional network based on guilt and fear."
-CIE, pg131-

I think I like sociology.

It's wonderful, ain't it, how one's happily jovial mood can be changed and brought crashing down in just less than a miserable five minutes....

People always claim children say they hate their parents or parent but it's all foolishness and out of anger cos they don't mean it in the end... But for me that is how it has been for years. I'm sick of facades. Sick of pretending. Sick of putting on a civil, cheerful tone every day.

And even though I have left gender crisis far, far behind me 4-5 years ago.....
When I'm all alone and my mind is permitted to wander...
A part of me still thinks life would have been at least a little brighter, and people would treat me better too, if I were a man.
Now who said weightlifters can't have nice hands and nails...?

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Keehee... ^^ Bringing a lil' girliness to the rough tough gym environment with my candy blue and pink nails?? Lol...
Speaking of which...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I reaaaaaaalllly need to stop buying nail polish and accessories.... =.=
But... but... so many pretty colours... T.T

Anyways....
Ernie now trains at EF!!!! :P Yaaaay~ So I'm seeing him practically everyday...
*gasp!* Does that mean no more checking out cute asses of random guys??? LOOOOOLL XD

Hehe thats ok.... cos Ernie's ass is the cutest of them all... and I don't just get to look at it........ XD WAHAHAHAHA..... *kena whack* :P

OOooo btw... Vitarlean + ice-cold chocolate milk...
= heaven on earth

^^

Just as I was sitting down to my morning coffee and breakfast this Sunday... I spied something on the Starmag Variety blurb and decided to flip to it and guess what!!! Our dearest Aiko of MA Kingdom and the Malaysian Lolita Club was in the papers!! :D Needless to say... the article was a two-page spread of the growing Lolita scene in Malaysia. Here are the newspaper scans also available on the forum... ^^

http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/2366/save0006dg9.jpg
http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/4372/save0007as8.jpg

Good job, Aiko and everyone at the MLC who have put in their efforts to popularize this culture! Yes... I think not many of you would believe that stubborn, headstrong, iron-pumping Kimmie is part of the loli scene and actually wears those adorable lacy frocks and socks - the epitome of child-like girlish-ness to most people. Well believe it, she IS. XD Just has been lying dormant for a looooong long time and has lately been ITCHING for a lolita outing. Hehe... Those dresses will be seeing daylight again pretty soon!

Oh so much for my braids being a long-term thing... :( Mom complained that I looked so ugly so I eventually gave in and took them out. *big sigh* I miss them already. No worries... I guess I'll put them back when I have the time to sit down and weave tham all over again. But ooh! I liked how floofy and crimped my hair looked after they came out of the braids!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I could actually pull off this look! ^^
Sadly my hair was poker straight again after a stint at the gym and a shower... :(

Went for buffet dinner at Tropicana last night... gosh the amount of oysters Ernie was slurping down... O.O *feels sick already* Hehehe.... Maybe thats why my parents like having him around so much when we go have buffet... he alone can cover the cost of all of us!!! :P But aiyo... Kimmie's getting fat. Metabolism not as wicked as my significant other...
I have a few pics... but they're blurred and I'm very malas to upload so oh well.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Ooooh and this stuff is really REALLY good! Very underrated... Burger King's Caramel Sundae... yum... and the generous amount of melted caramel is piping hot!!! And I'm such a big fan of caramel/toffee flavours... Mmmmm... :P Sweet, sweet sin for a major dessert lover like myself.

And hopefully, HOPEFULLY I will be doing an event this Hallowe'en... But... not been on very good terms with mom and I'm actually pretty scared of asking permission... But but... *sigh* I REALLY WANNA DO THIS OKAY? :( *prays hard* Wish me luck guys... I need as much of it as remotely possible...

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

Since it's going to be my last week in Subang... *mixed emotions*... I thought I'd take this final opportunity to check out this stall called Zul's Burger in front of Salmon Steak... which, believe it or not, I've been meaning to try since the beginning of Semester 1 XD hahahaha.... Nothing satisfies a craving for highly caloric, artery-clogging food as a fat, succulent Ramly burger does!! And it's been, what, forever since I've had one?
Tried this prawn burger double special... which was pretty interesting... :) But I suppose the beef still beats them all. :P

And yeala no pics yet cos I'm still blogging from the college pc. PFFFT.

Oh well. But here's something that came thru the mail today that should keep you on your toes for awhile until I get my home connection back....

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
;)

Till then....
Oh and if you find dead Telekom people gracing the headlines within the next few days... you know who's been the culprit...

p/s: Kimmie is doing leg extensions at 110lbs, 10reps!!!! :D *dances naked down the hall*
Ok I think I shouldn't put that image in your head... XD

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

OK. So the modem refuses to co-operate. And both phones are still dead. Takes 1-2 days before Telekom sends their technicians around to exorcise the bastards. So here I am having to blog from my college pc again. Yay!! Wow the emails have been piling up....

And by the way... my newly tightened retainers HURT LIKE A BITCH.

Anyways... photos!
Golds Gym was good... :) It looks different now, very much smaller compared to when it was in Ampang Plaza. And the fireman pole has been taken away too.

Generally was a pretty good weekend, and we also attended this performing arts course at CLGC on Sunday after church... no pics tho :( We were too busy getting involved!! :D

Oh and taking a page out of Shawn Michael's book.... I had my hair done in braids. ALL BY MYSELF!!! :D *proud* And I've realised they're alot easier to keep than simply letting my hair fly free. Especially in the gym... and much easier to clean than corn rows. :D Considering keeping them long term.... Whaddya think? ^^

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
^^ I think I rock this look alot better than corn rows... But I will be attempting to learn how to make corn rows also, when Ernie's hair gets longer so I can do it for him! Hehe. Then I can start charging people. :P

Oh I have to digress...
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
DON'T BUY THIS FLAVOUR.
I absolutely looove Ritter Sport chocs... But this sucks.

It's my last week of college before a long stretch of study break and A2. *gets jittery*
Ernie was around yesterday to pick up his diploma cert... and to see me also, lol. :D And we hit AsiaCafe to play pool. It's been such a long time since we last did and I sucked big time. XD

Lol randoms....

Wheee. And that's the last of the pictures.
Btw... last night I suddenly had the urge to pull out my lolita dresses. And put them on. *nostalgia* It has been such a long long time since I've taken them out.... Loli outing, anyone???? :D Organise something, quick!! *restless*
