So how has my adjusting to uni been the past few days?

Well frankly I've been feeling absolutely miserable. My lecturers are crackos, my course subjects pointless (Chapter 1: How to care for your computer. WTF!? Yes, an amazing number of people are computer illiterate...), and woohoo I don't seem to be clicking with my coursemates apart from one of the guys. So much for assimilating, heh.

Fucking hell, each lecture is 3 hours long. I am not shitting you.

I'm depressed that I might have to quit my job at Energy Fitness, give up what I really love, for THIS.

Nevertheless, I am hoping that things will get better soon... I hope I'll eventually fall into place and find my footing in this whole new place. I'm feeling loads better today which I believe is a good start... Ernie's been dropping by everyday to keep me company and make sure everything's alright. And I got my namecards today! :D Yep.... finally got them done after so many people pestering me about them....

Took me quite some time before deciding to have something more "hardcore" and serious, hence the fire and lighting. Can you imagine I almost wanted to make a more glam, metallic pink, curlicued version???? (I mean not that it's a bad thing lol) Suppose I'm a lil glad I settled on this one...


^^ I was so, so elated upon receiving them I kept taking them out of the box to look at them... lol

And ooh. Got my drivers license renewed for the sake of renewing it. Heck. I've never driven since getting my license come to think of it.... apart from the time I went and got lost in Shah Alam............ =.= *shudder*

But haha. Look how much difference 2 years can do to you....

And Ernie was nice enough to layan his very demanding gf... we went to Swensens in SS2 for supper!


Swensens' new look... this is the first time I've been there since the renovation. And the last time I was there had been before Mich left for the States.
It looks so..... sterile now. I really did prefer the warmer, cozier Swensens from before....


My usual order... the Cookie Summit! Yummy cookies n' cream and butterscotch ice cream with lotsa fudge. Sweet sin.

Salmon and mushroom baked rice. Looks good doesn't it.
But unfortunately the standard of this dish has fallen quite abit. =/ It's still pretty good... but the last time it used to have alot more sauce and was very much heavier. This time it's rather dry.... and like so super salty!!!!!! Haha according to Ernie it was like eating salted fish........

Whee-hoo. It's gonna be a pretty hectic week. So many events... so little time. If only I had as many assignments, say, 2-3 weeks ago!! Aaargh nevertheless.... be thankful Kimmie, be thankful.... :)


For I shall always dream... always aspire....
And you know as long as I still got it in me I ain't gonna pull the brakes anytime soon!

Yes yes I know. Long time no update.

Been crazy-ass busy the past week. Theres been my uni application and orientation (I only attended 1 out of 4 days)... which.... well I don't exactly wanna talk about that. And theres also been the prepping for my May/June events and shoots.

Speak of busy... heck I had to be at four different places in the same day yesterday. Was up at 5-freaking-am to prep for a shoot in Putrajaya. My very first assignment with Tone Team Projects... my first time working with a team of photographers this big; and my very first, very anticipated sexy suburban-esque carwash shoot. And my Ernie was so considerate, waking up so early to accompany me to Putrajaya... :) You tell me... how can I ever thank or love that man enough!!

Had an event/gathering later in the afternoon at Outpost Cineleisure. Whee... it was the NERF meetup I was pretty excited about... staying up into the wee hours of the morning modding my own NERF.... and nearly crying when I took it apart and didn't know how to put the air chamber back for a very long time...... lol.

Then there was dinner at Tropicana with my parents right after the event.

And then hitting BarCelona for a birthday party. Feeling sick and sleepy even before entering the club. Ignoring my body and dancing for great deal before buzzing around like a disoriented fly and wanting to throw up despite not having anything to drink. It was such sweet relief to curl up in bed finally after that long, long day.

And I was up early this morning to meet Yong Wei at KLCC. Congrats on getting admitted to Wellesley!!! :DDD I'm so happy for you, if not a lil jealous, heh! :P And I'm going to miss you!!!

Happening, happening weekend. Whoooo. I'm dead on my feet. Oh yea I'm sure you noticed.... no pictures on this post. Forgot my digicam lah what to do..... But well,

So we are back from our weekend 'getaway'....

First of all would like to thank my client IMMENSELY for letting us have this two-night stay at One World Hotel.... and this opportunity would not be possible without her gift - room rates are pretty exorbiant, being a 5-star hotel. It was a refreshing break for Ernie and I... just bumming around having nothing to do... eating... sleeping... eating some more... Lol.

Guess what. On day 2.... my usually grumpy boyfriend who hates early mornings was wide awake at 6am. Why? Cos of the complimentary buffet breakfast =.= The way to a man's heart is thru his stomach indeed. *cranky, groggy, muttering Kim*


Okay. From this pic it doesn't look like much.... but One World Hotel provides the LONGEST breakfast buffet spread that I've ever seen!!! The selections and amount of food was craaaazy.... they even give you stuff like salmon and seabass steaks!!

Spent alot of time just walking around 1U... watching TV and lazing around swaddled in the thick hotel bathrobes... annoying each other lol... we also met up with Kevin and his girlfriend in the afternoon.

And of course eating some more. *pokes growing paunch*

Well that that food's gotta go somewhere too... and wherever we go... we sniff out the gyms.

And right after that we caught Angels and Demons at GSC. I thought it was pretty good - I personally thought Angels and Demons was my fave Dan Brown book of all. Enjoyed the movie very much... they changed it from the book here and there as they always do, but it still hits the spot. Worth watching!!


Haha. Back to the food. Hey not often we binge this badly okay... XD

And will you believe it... breakfast on the second day was EVEN better, with more selections and better stuff available. And even tho we woke up much later.... we went back to sleep after eating our fill anyways. XD The bed, huge pillows and thick duvet were too heavenly to give up just yet... and the super cold aircon... just makes me want to curl up in the warmth and not come out!!

Yeap... that's our perfect weekend together... just in each other's company. Two people in love.
But the damper just had to come -

Someone tried to steal Ernie's car. Right from the hotel carpark! After checking out, he found the car with the doors unlocked and the battery dead. Very suspicious as he DID lock the car and turn off the headlights. And after getting someone to jumpstart the car... the headlights were indeed OFF. And the moment they jumpstarted the car the alarm went off.... hence that car batt probably ran out cos of the alarm ringing all night - someone probaly did tamper with the car, and couldn't drive it off as the steering wheel was locked. We made a report and thought everything was over...... After I left Ernie's car actually died in the carpark again and this time couldn't be jumpstarted... so he had to buy a new battery altogether there and then. =.=

But I suppose we should be thankful nothing valuable was taken and the car didn't die on the road... And that aside... I'm glad we had a good weekend together to refresh and recharge.

It's back to training hard and eating clean once more!!!
