Today was Faidzal's last day at work.
He even had the cheek to tease me... telling me to "Jaga Rosli baik baik sehinggalah dia membubarkan parlimen" and that "Sayang kan... tak boleh tengok Faidzal lagi...".

Turns out he had a better offer elsewhere as a full-time bodyguard. Great pay, great benefits, and his employer is even setting up a home gym in some bungalow for him to utilise! Am definitely happy for him.... but without a doubt.....

And now there's news about Fatah not being allowed to go back to Indonesia as planned, cos we are so short-staffed... which I think is terrible as Fatah is a loyal and hard worker and definitely deserves to go home for Raya. :(

And one of the guys has also been left in limbo cos he's lost trainers (first Roslan then Faidzal) and was telling me how depressed he was feeling, cos he thought he could finally settle down in EF after YEARS of gym-hopping without results....

People are asking me if I'm leaving too... but no I don't think I can leave at this time when EF needs people most. It's going to be difficult and I honestly don't know if I'm putting myself in trouble biting off more than I can chew.... but I have faith and can't go just like that without a care. This is not just my gym it is my home. And I would want Fatah to be able to go back too, if I could make that possible. I will be hanging on as long as I can until new manpower shows up.

Am hoping for the best in the weeks to come :)

Came in to work yesterday and saw....

Oh and I finally cut my hair.
Yeap. Finally, huh! After Mr. Malaysia I pretty much had had it with Rapunzel locks, and it was really getting too hard to manage. So since Chris (mcy2k) was gonna be in Dataran Glomac for the next two weeks doing his hairstyling training... thought I'd drop by his place and (literally) leave my hair in his hands!

Wahaha... I've always felt really proud of my long hair.... and very very few people actually have hair longer than mine, let alone at the gym! And some of the fellas there think it's cute too... so yea you can imagine my reluctance...

But hey I think Chris did a pretty awesome job too! Believe it or not.... he spent 3 straight hours on me! Said I had typical model's hair - dry, damaged, tangled and ridiculously overstyled. XD I mean I've been at salons for more than 4 hours doing dyejobs and straightening.... but this is definitely the longest hairCUT I've had!

And after - Chris took about a foot off my tail.
And yeslah if you're wondering why this changing room looks so different.... it happens to be the males'. XD

SHORT!!!!!!!!

Lol. Amazing how taking off that bit made my head feel so migh lighter! And I was being so bimbo at the salon going "OMGOMG *feels lower back* There nothing heeeere!!!" XD. Chris gave me a unique "feather" cut... which gives the hair more texture and also shows off my platinum bits better. Changing my parting also... so I'll be sporting silly hairclips for the next coupla days.... haha.

Fun stuff aside now.... looks like I'll be having a hard time at work soon.
Abang Faidzal quit. Very unexpected and I only found out today when I had to come in overtime to cover him. And I was rather upset about it too cos I'm closer to Faidzal and he always had been very good and generous to me.... *sigh* He's going to be missed. And on top of that the gym is already short-staffed as it is.....

And Fatah will be going back to Indonesia in August too. No prizes if you guess who I'll be stuck with then............. =.= But well for the meantime I shall be learning to take on more tasks such as admin and accounting work to make up for the lack of manpower, and be stepping up learning to handle the entire premise single-handedly, opening til closing. Good training for me too, I expect. But worrying, nevertheless, especially when sem starts.

Well.... it's almost the end of this week, and I'm looking forward to all the good things next week may bring. :)

Competition this year was TOUGHER than I have ever seen it! The guys entering were strong competitors... each and every one of them... and to you fellas who saw Shukri of the heavyweight category........... words failed. It was just THAT awesome.

Anyways, congrats Terry for winning the silver in the heavyweight category. It was one helluva comeback to us all the same and... the crowd going wild!!! Sure got loaaads of supporters :P It was good meeting up again after so long... and it was great also to finally meet David and his wife Shima... and Terry's bodybuilder girlfriend from the States, Lillian. And omg the fart jokes and LAUGHS we had.....!!!!!! XD If there was anything I regret, I regret not bringing that fucking camera!!!!

I will be trawling the forums and other blogs for photos. Like I always do. Lol.

And now... back to KL.... it's back to work, back to studying... back to sucking it up to survive. Oh but nevertheless I am thankful for the nice surprise waiting at home for me....

Bad news.

Laptop is beyond repair. Apparently some parts inside have rusted, and that sort of damage is not covered by warranty... cos rust = masuk air... but I'm baffled cos if there is rust the water must've been inside for quite some time......... T.T Sighs. More $$$ to be spent... which means working HARDER.....

It's abit of a comfort that I got the laptop entirely F.O.C by winning at GameAxis as Vixoen ... but also... it's kinda stabbing as it contains sentimental value as my very first cosplay/character design Grand Prize win....

Ah wells. Let's start off with a random food post
The following was taken at one of our fave Tex-Mex restaurants, Frontera, at Jaya 1.

Cripsy chicken chimichangas as appetizer. My fave! Very nice with the jalapeno + sour cream dip.

My chicken burger... can't remember the exact name... but wooh the chicken was cooked and seasoned really really well... and the honey mustard dressing that came with it.... siiiiiiin!! Huge serving sizes too and worth every penny.

*slurps* Are you hungry yet???

Ernie's pick of beef fajitas. Not too bad either. Not as cheesy as the ones at Chillis tho. And they serve their sauces in those really cute glasses... and bottomless tortillas in a special container.

Dessert! Ordered this cos it sounded very unique and special... Some cheesecake chimichanga thingy. It's cream cheese wrapped and deep-fried inside a crispy tortilla... with cranberry sauce and whipped cream. Was ok... rather plain actually for the price... I didn't quite like the liquified, hot cream cheese... Not exactly something I'd order a second time round.

And this is from Italianesse MidValley, during Patrick's 21st birthday. Oh and before I move on to that... props to them for the superb service... we were a party of about 30+ people that kept them on their toes till closing time!

Chicken parmagiano. The manager's recommendation for my request of something rich, cheesy and creamy. Yummy... huuuge portion.

Fresh cream... salsa... cilantro... cheese... and four slices of lean chicken fillets. That's a piece of heaven for you!

And our regular Tiramisu dessert! Awesome as ever. Sometimes Ernie and I would even go to Italianesse just for this alone!

Ok moving away from food... yesterday's event went by smoothly. Despite the heavy rain and crazy traffic... Alan and I reached the venue safe, sound, and ON TIME! And despite all the last minute panic attacks over makeup issues... we managed to find a bottle of good liquid latex for my prosthetic work after all. :D J.W Marriott and Phillips were generous enough to give us an entire ballroom to ourselves as "changing rooms"!

Their bathrooms have aromatherapy burners! So pretty... and what a refreshing tea-tree, bergamot-ey scent!

Other characters present were Hellboy and V (for Vendetta), and we had Darth Vader and a Clone Trooper do a fight routine. There were also roving photographers with polaroid cams going about snapping photos for everyone. Oh and guess what, Derek and Liang were at the event too! Had a 4 hour break between appearances (one for the press, the other for their own private function)... so that time was spent hanging around and catching up with them, ang also getting to know some of the new faces on the cosplay team.

Oh and our dear Xavier turned up much later... and we all know what happens lah when Xavier is around......... XD

Okay and we shall be away for the next 4-5 days! Going to follow my boy to his home in Kluang. Yaaay - 4-5 days of no cares or worries, training, lolling around, training, and eating Big Apple donuts! Shall also swing by JB for the Mr. Malaysia competition. To Terry who is making his comeback... all the best and we just KNOW it's going to be great for you! And also good luck to abang Faidzal who is representing KL in his weight class.
