I'm exhausted.

My fitting sessions in KL were... gruelling. Didn't expect that something that sounded so simple could be so onerous. Well mostly due to my insanely painful hamstrings from an especially hardcore leg day on Tuesday... on top of all the travelling and getting up so early... The tailor was situated somewhere in an industrial area in Salak South. Argh I swear wrestling on my boots felt like deadlifts....

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Some roadside mamak Solomon and I chilled out at waiting for the tailor to open... where there was only one table and everyone had to share with everyone else....
It's like the only place to eat in the whole area... I kid you not...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Lol they serve drinks in these mugs... XD
Randomness........... ok I'm starting to sound like I have nothing better to blog about...... lol

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The tailor's. :D
I swear.... Shamanee, or Sham, is BRILLIANT. On top of taking so many measurements... I had to be present and had to do countless fittings of my costume... so it was made absolutely skin-tight.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Yeap. So there I was hanging around her workstation in only boots and my underwear... which felt like absolute torture at some points cos there was no fan or aircon... =.= And I actually needed help to get in and out of the suit cos the cutting and tailoring was so precise. Which also means I really, REALLY have to work extra hard to keep my muscles full and my waist a lean, mean, whittled 25" or I can't carry it off!!

Back down to the mamak for lunch... And before you start judging me for eating carbs like I mentioned earlier it's the only place to eat at and it's either between this or nasi lemak!!
This is like the soggiest plate of maggi goreng I've ever had in my life =.= Serious shit. Eww-ness. Oh and to top it off there were two flies in Solomon's drink........

So glad we got most of the things done today.... Got home at 4pm and had to rush to work + training immediately. My client cancelled but I was actually incredibly thankful about it. No idea how I'd conduct a good session being so zoned and tired. And I obviously OD-ed on caffeine as well which made me somewhat sick and queasy... yea I know, despite promising Ernie I'd cut down... it was either that or sleeping on the job and skipping a workout. :(

And other unrelated things: Getting fucked upside down regarding my bike license among other issues I don't exactly wanna talk about... screwing myself silly over my ridiculous spending issues (and it's not even payday yet)... and digging myself an early grave CONTEMPLATING placing what I should not on the top of my list of priorites and battling with thats too cos there are other (often unpractical) things too I seem to want more.... And not being the very least interested in uni tho I bloody well KNOW its what thats good for me...

Oh wells... I'm glad the day's over... I'm so sleeping in tommorow. And before I sign off... here are some new pics from a more spacious, rearranged EF.

*post shifted up

This post is just to welcome the newest addition to my cluttered, sesak layout. Lol.

Femme Fatale! is now in support of Gold's Gym Kuala Lumpur (GGKL). You can see their brand new, gleaming link banner I designed on the top of this page underneath the Probuffedbodies banner. Which I also made. HA HA. *hidung tinggi*

Anyways, yea.... GGKL has so far been the only gym in Malaysia I have trained at to be rated a perfect-10 on my scale. :) What's not to love: LOTS of equipment, and it really makes things very interesting with such a wide selection of machines PER individual muscle group... Unique machines and contraptions like the Powerjog and Vibrogym you probably wouldn't see in any other gym... a boxing/martial arts studio... and even a centre for sports-related therapy, rehabilitation and massage. On top of that... they play awesome music. Lol. No seriously this can be a big deal!! Can you imagine pumping iron to "Barbie Girl"?? And of course, owner Tom Curtis has always been ever so kind and hospitable. :)

Despite the aircon (what to do... I hate it, the rest of the world doesn't)... and despite that technically Gold's Gym would be a designer gym (I'm sortakinda anti-DGs).... WEI THE REST OF THE WORLD LOVES AIRCON AND DESIGNER GYMS RIGHT????? Lol... Yea I'd put up with it. :D Besides... I do have some very cherished memories made in Gold's Gym. *big grin* GGKL was an excuse to go out with Ernie and get to know him better... and some of our earliest dates were at GGKL... and our very first couple photos were taken at GGKL too!! :D

So... yup! Providing GGKL some free ad-space and publicity on my blog is really the least I could do in repay. As a matter of fact I'm happy to do it! After all... Tom has also sponsored my Honourary Membership!

Thank you Tom, and thank you GGKL!

GGKL has also sponsored Ernie to compete in Mr Gym Rakyat Classic 07 as a representative.

On other things: I'm still not feeling well... and things don't seem to be getting much better either, which is rather worrying... hence I'm forced to abandon this weekend's shoot. :( But well I'm grateful for all the guys at EF last night who have tried to make things easier for me at work and make me laugh; and of course for Ernie who has never failed to give his constant love and support. Looking at brighter things... I've gotten a free fish-spa thingy from one of my agencies! No idea what it is... but as I'm not shooting I get to go tommorow to find out. Blessing in disguise, maybe? :) Still going to be a busy weekend nevertheless... Pray things go well!

[edit @ 11pm] will be testing out some codes and scripts and stuff over the next few days... pardon me if my blog gets a lil wonky from time to time. Unless if you're viewing this on Firefox.

*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*

Feels like I've been hit by a wave of immense bad luck over the past week.........

First of all... this is probably the longest time running that I've been sick (well not counting the time I had the chicken pox of course). My otherwise enjoyable EF stint has been a downer due to the sniffles and training has also suffered.

Had to turn down a shoot last week... and my Ernie actually ended up making a phone call to Dubai just to help me do that...

Think I screwed up the shoot for my very first international assignment yesterday too cos I was coughing and sniffling all the way and the photog kept asking if I was alright or not......... =.= *malu* Was my first time working with a foreign photographer as well and I probly came across as such a klutz......

Gotten into some spats within the family which I don't wish to elaborate on....

And I'm feeling a lil' sad about missing the night out with the EF bina-badan gang... even more so when the guys have been trying to persuade me for practically the entire week...

To top everything off... my online portfolio got scewed up cos I removed a div code by accident which threw off my alignments. *sighs* And I'm dreading having to redo all my custom codes and links and burning my eyes out reading html.... =.= But on the bright side I've been meaning to find a not-so-garish background but have been putting it off for months and months (I've been told several times it's too distracting) cos of sheer laziness... so I guess now I don't have a choice.

But I believe every cloud has a silver lining (cliche as it sounds...)?
On the bright side... I already have copies of my portfolio with various agencies, and am still holding a hardcopy. And I shouldn't be too worried either about jobs cos I happen to be pretty booked till mid-April which still means money in tha' bank.

And I of course have Ernie and the many things he's done to be thankful for.
And oh God I need my flu meds.

Gotta be optimistic. =3 Things are gonna be better....

So fucking pissed off now.... =.=
The Sampuoton fish spa thing I was offered.... turns out to be some MLM-esque thingy and I was treated to some 2 hour "ambassadorship" thing... which is also screwed up cos you're only "eligible" if you've managed to rope in like 40 customers/members and only one person will get the RM50,000 sponsorship... gotta attend team-building meetings and bla bla bla.... =.=

What free fish spa.... =.= Got nothing lah! Just ask you to sign a form (which I refused) and smile at you and say bye-bye. The free spas are only for you IF you sign up and pay RM3xx etc etc etc... so I of course was like, no way. Felt damn bloody cheated cos all this WAS NOT in the description mailed to me.... =.= No attachments... very funny, haha! Wasted time... wasted money taking taxi... I could've been in Midvalley for my costume fit today but now I have to do it tommorow evening which equals a SUPER BUSY DAY tommorow rushing about with my audition and whatnot and I'M STILL NOT FEELING WELL....

What rubbish......... *sigh* But still... am very grateful to a fellow model was kind enough to send me to Uptown to catch a cab home if not I seriously have no idea how I was gonna get home from the near-deserted Merchant Square...

Please tell me whats funner than having nothing else to do but sit in your room... can't turn on the fan or aircon cos your nose gets stuffed so it's sweltering hot... can't lie down cos your nose gets stuffed... can't eat anything but bread cos your throat hurts so bad yet you're still so hungry... your head spins and you feel so disconcerted... can't sleep, and end up Facebooking till your eyes bleed... and you've been alone for practically the whole day and haven't spoken to anyone since morning....

Everything else huh.
Sigh... I'm just getting so upset about my predicament and the fact that it's gone on for almost a week already.

And I'm not seeing Ernie today.
siigh.

Was a totally crap day at work for me.....

NO, not cos of the people or what I had to do etc... hell, being a personal trainer is one of the things I love most in life.... but cos my ailments have taken a toll of the worse after an extremely explosive arm+chest routine. And I THOUGHT I was going to get better... Looks like I've caught a pretty nasty chill from the combination of aircon + fan + dripping wet in sweat. Doesn't help either that I still haven't gotten my voice back.........
THANKS A BUNCH, GUYS.

Snivelling + coughing + being dizzy + shivering + being at work = NOT FUN.
Yep. All I did was sit in a corner wrapped in a towel with the nearest fan off.

Will most likely give this weekend's first ever EF outing/dinner/pool party a miss too....... :(((((
I'm sorreeeeeee but everyone's favorite female bodybuilder is too wrecked to rendezvous......

Well.... but despite the fact that work was a total downer.... I came home to a VERY unexpected surprise.

I rushed to turn on the TV for my weekly WWE RAW indulgence.... and saw.....

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
EDGE!!!!!!~ The Rated-R Superstar!!!! The most physically perfect, aesthetically pleasing man on the face of this earth....... Omg whats he doing on RAW!?!? Isn't he a Smackdown dude??? (not that I'm complaining.... :P)

I don't care how big an ass he is on the show...
but he sure is one HAWT piece of ass!! :P

Was all the better that this episode of RAW was really good with the unexpected appearance of Triple H....

Aaaand..... I get tommorow off, and I get to recieve lots and lots of TLC from my Ernie..... :D
I just really, reallyreally hope I don't end up giving him the flu...... x.x

Huhu... super long post coming up. :D
Backdated pics... at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.... can't really remember when...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Their smoothies are the bomb!! I don't usually order drinks... but here it's seriously too good to resist... ^^ Don't remember the name of this.... it's the one thats got strawberry and coconut cream.... Yummeh....

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Some rice + shrimp dish... not so good... was OK only compared to their other main entrees.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Oooo... but this! This was the BOMB.... Their nachos are very unique and tasty... ^^ And they give so much dip!!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Check out how rich their dip is... lots of cheese and spinach... and it's only an extra RM1 if you want shrimp in it. Simply heavenly.... I could eat it just like that on it's own!

On to more recent things....
Kimmie welcomes her new lil' precious.......

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
A pair of punch pliers!!!
Haha lol.... yea me and my lil' thing for crafts and DIY work. This was one bloody expensive bugger... bought out of desperation actually cos when I was in the middle of making Ernie's V-day pressie.....

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I blunted my dad's conventional punch. =.= It's the sort that you gotta hammer into the leather manually. And those edges were sharp when I first began... and so when it died I went frantically to hardware stores finding a replacement... only to be told they no longer sell the conventional punches (WHAAAAATT!?!?) and now they only manufacture the plier type... so yeah.

But well turns out I'm really glad I bought it in the end! As a matter of fact... I'm clobbering myself over not buying it earlier at having spent days of clankering into the wee hours of the morning (literally) and depriving my neighbours of sleep! It's so much easier to use and so much more versatile with different materials and fabrics. *sayangs*

And I also just realised how much of my dad's tools I've been pilfering over the weeks and days. x.x

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The 'workstation'....
Yea that's the thing about leatherworking... at first you think it's just leather, needle and thread, yup? Then you realise you need a bazillion more things to pierce, secure, decorate etc etc etc.... No seriously it's sometimes really amazing how these simple things make life so much easier, have you ever thought about it???
*sigh* How would I ever live without a local hardware store... lol.
By the way all of dad's tools have been returned already.

Next mission: Overcome fear of big deafening power tools... power drills, tile-cutters, buzz saws and the like.... *goes back to rummage in the tool cupboard*

Ah well... speaking of Valentine's Day....
Was with Ernie beginning from the night before, cozying up in his new condo... ;)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Cheese and choc mousse cakes from Royale Bintang Hotel... and some chocolate + cherry cheese dip... :)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
On Valentine's Day itself we had buffet lunch at Umai-ya... :P The place was super packed! Hehe... my baby had the smarts to make reservations two weeks in advance!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
They now have this different ordering format... they give you these menus where you can tick what you want on it and state the quantity... much more convenient for them as well, instead of taking multiple orders for the buffet.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The cosy setting of the restaurant...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
*loves*... and omg I look so chinadoll in this photo it's freaky!! x.x

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
First up... Unagi tempura!! :D:D Really loved this one... had 2 plates of it!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Shisamo (barbequed capelin fish) and soft shelled crab tempura

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Sashimi platter.... we're wiser now and only ordered what we knew we liked... instead of ordering everything on the list and ending up not liking some at all!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Beef negi... or slices of barbequed beef wrapped around spring onions. Unexpectedly this was really really good too despite the simplicity of the dish...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Beef teppanyaki... so-so only...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Another one of my faves.... the Dragon Maki (avocado + unagi + prawns)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Tofu Steak.... pretty good stuff too...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Soft-shelled crab Maki

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Unagi sushi

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Probably my fave dish at Umai-ya... the Kani Unatama Maki!! Hehe yup... Soft-shelled crab, unagi and tamago rolled in seaweed and drizzled with mayo.... Yuummm... Really love the fact that this isn't made with the sticky rice too!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
California Cheese Maki... Is it just me or has this dish kinda gotten poorer since the last time?? I remembered it used to be really good and we had seconds, but this time it was more like.... naaaah....

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Finishing off with the desserts... Chocolate, green tea and wasabi ice cream. Yes wasabi. Lol. We were intrigued enough to order that to try it. Turned out to be not quite our thing. Spicy ice cream.... *shudder*

Well of course our V-day wasn't over with just lunch... lol. We went to the KL Bird Park later in the afternoon with my family.

This hornbill was suuuper adorable... lol... it kept hopping along the floor in a reallt comical manner!!

Some of the peacocks there are really friendly... They'd let you approach them really close, and even take food from your hand!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Feeding the emus...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Uhh dear... I think that ones reaaaally hungry....

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Yea... haha... this guy actually came running up to me... and then staring and stretching it's neck up to look at the bread I was feeding the emus... lol. Either very hungry... or very greedy indeed!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Very greedy koi too.... lol.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Playing with chicks in the nursery!

And after feeding and watching all those greedy birds at the bird park... we greedy humans went to William's for dinner!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
This is the antipesto we ordered to share... and THANK GOD we decided to share cos I would've have been able to finish it on my own!! That is SO much meat!! Lamb, beef, rib, chicken, ham, salami, sausages, mince, and this huuuuge serving of mashed potatoes and cream sauce. That was one very, very hearty meal.

And I supposed all that makan has taken it's toll.... I'm now sick and have lost my voice. Lol. And went to work without my voice too and gave everyone a hard time trying to figure out what I was croaking. And heyyy I didn't skip training, ya know?? I still dragged every inch of that weary body onto the treadmill for a sound punishing. *proud*

Oh wells... pray I get better kay?? :)
